The Offical Opening of the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission

The temporary laboratory-clinic of the Atomic Bomb Causualty Commision at Ujina machi, Hiroshima, Japan officially opened on July 14th. Local health care providers were invited to visit the ABCC facilities the day preceding the offical opening. This afforded them the opportunity to meed staff and tour the laboratory-clinic. Laboratory procedures and equipment were demonstrated.

These two photgraphs are scenes of doctors and nurses signing-in at the registration desk. Each registrant was given a copy of an explanatory booklet, "What is ABCC."

Louise Cavagnaro, R.N., Director of the ABCC Nursing Staff donated the booklet on display.
