Lacey's mother, Pat, and Dr. Brewer are featured. 3-1/2 mins. (The remainder of the newscast plus a Sesame Street program extend the actual recording to about 1 hour), undated (See Series VII, Boxes 11 & 12, for USA/USSR cooperative Auranofin studies)

Tape D: Lion's Club Camp for JRA kids from boarding bus, to fishing at camp, doing craft projects, dancing, playing, etc. 17 mins., undated.

Tape E: AF telethon from Nashville, TN, featuring country music stars and Dr. Brewer who appears both as "Honey Bunny from Chicago" (see Photograph Collection) and as an interviewee regarding arthritis. 2 hrs., 1986. Labeled "1 reel of 4" but the other 3 were not in the collection.

Tape F: "Feeling Good With Arthritis" - a health video by Xenejenex and featuring Dr. Alan Zenakis. 60 mins., 1989.

Tape G: "A New Concept in Mental Health Care" - produced for the Houston Family Crisis Unit. An introduction to the nation's first mental health treatment unit at Houston International Hospital, 6441 Main Street, in cooperation with United Way's Child Guidance Center. Discusses program, teen suicide, pregnancy, other family crisis situations, intervention, etc. 11 mins., July 8, 1986.

Film 3a: May 21, 1974, male JRA patient (?) Musick - pre-op range of motion. Film 3b: May 22, 1974, patient Musick's knee surgery.

Film 3c: June 6, 1974, patient Musick walking with a walker and accompanied by an older male (his father?) and a physical therapist.

16 mm film inventory. All the film in this box pertains to JRA patient Pamela Stokes (slides of this patient are found with presentation scripts in Series VI, Box 1, Folder 11 and Series VIII, Box 8, Folder 114).


Film 4a: Undated (Stokes appears younger than in dated film), Stokes in wheel chair; post-op exam followed by short segment of film with an unidentified second female JRA patient; Stokes accompanied by a physical therapist while walking with a walker; film segment of a third patient, a stocky black girl walking with crutches and then sitting in a chair.

Film 4b: July 13, 1973 (marked "original" and header spliced onto film says "1-974 Dr. Brewer"), Stokes walking with walker and wearing a "HANG IN THERE" shirt.

Film 4c: Sept. 7, 1973, Stokes' pre-op attempts to walk; post-op walking with walker and wearing the "HANG IN THERE" shirt; later post-op walk; getting out of bed (yellow shirt, navy shorts); walking with walker; walking with physical therapist alongside and without walker; additional walking session for camera (red and white shorts outfit).

Box 15

Single reel of 16mm film housed in its own 13" x 13" x 1-1/4" red plastic case:

"The Diagnosis & Management of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Part I, Diagnosis" (1978, McNeil Labs), 40 mins. Part II, the "Management" segment was not found in the collection. (see Box 1, CV Item #44 for correspondence and publicity).
